Pleasure IslandTX

Port Arthur's Pleasure Island, an 18.5 mile long man-made body of land, extends from the mouth of the Neches River on the northwest to the Sabine Causeway on the southeast and is surrounded by Sabine Lake and the Sabine Neches Intracoastal Waterway.

Pleasure Island is a place of beauty.  Its hills, bluffs, and vistas of Sabine Lake are a delight and pleasure to those who visit.  Pleasure Island is where the fun begins!

Mariner's Cove

Mariner's Cove (originally Marina Colony) was developed in the early 1980s by Michael Ryan.  All but 18 of the 84 lots are waterfront lots with canal access to Sabine Lake via the Pleasure Island Marina area.

Current homeowners take advantage of the subdivision's location to pursue their interests in sailing and fishing while basking in the enjoyment of living on the water.

In March 2005, 11 waterview lots priced at $32,500 each were added to the subdivision.  In addition, 4 waterfront lots ranging from $26,000 to $32,000 each are available for purchase.
